Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no database, your family's charts stay on your device.

What we store on your device

To remember your work between visits, FamilyChore saves these items in your browser's localStorage: your chore chart (names and chores), tracker ticks, points and rewards, your reward chart, cleaning schedule and checklist settings, chore wheel and allowance settings. They never leave your browser unless you use the AI planner.

The AI planner

If you press "Draft our chore split", the text you typed is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate a reply. We do not store it or use it for anything else. Please don't include private details such as full names or addresses.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count page visits. It does not track you across other sites.

Clear your data

This removes every FamilyChore item from this browser. It can't be undone.
