Tracker questions
Do I need an app or an account to track chores?
No. This tracker runs in your browser and saves progress on this device only. Keep it open on a family tablet or bookmark it on your phone's home screen.
How are streaks counted?
A person's streak is the number of days in a row on which they finished every chore due that day. Days where they had nothing due don't break it. Today counts once everything is ticked.
How do rewards work?
Every ticked chore earns its points. Add rewards with a points price (say 20 points for choosing the Friday film) and press "Redeem" when someone cashes in. Spent points are subtracted from their balance.
Should chores be paid?
Families split on this. A common approach is to keep basic "family member" jobs unpaid and let extra jobs earn points or money. The allowance by age page explains the options.
